Back-to-back promotions for Red DragonsWill be rewarded with trip to Sin CityLong, hard season has come to a closeWHAT HAPPENED?
The Red Dragons headed to Sin City in the summer of 2023 after claiming the National League title in record-breaking style – returning them to the EFL after a 15-year absence. They have bounced straight through League Two, finishing as runners-up in that division, and the club's Hollywood co-owners are ready to fund another all-expenses-paid trip to Nevada.

Cleworth can enjoy that break more than he did 12 months ago, as he turned 21 in August, and has said of preparing to let collective hair down a long way from North Wales: “Hopefully just enjoy it a bit more than I did last year. I’ll be allowed in a few more places. I’ll enjoy it more but also to be treated to something like that by the owners is unbelievable and to do it with the group of lads we’ve got is really special.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Andy Cannon is another Red Dragons star looking forward to jetting off for the United States, saying after bringing the 2023-24 campaign to a close with a match-winning goal on the final day against Stockport: “We’re going to Vegas again, hopefully I'll have a good time with everyone but I don't want to stop the season right now personally. Because I've been adding goals to my game, and I've been enjoying every second of it, but at the same time, I think everyone's needed a well-deserved rest as well. The boys are playing through pain every game, and I count myself as well. I've been obviously going through pain every game. It's very tough, and obviously people on the outside don't know the ins and outs, but we're going to every game, and I'm not sure everyone's 100% all the time. But that's what we've got. We've got a good mentality in the players, and players willing to just obviously go out and give it their all.”

Phil Parkinson has eked every ounce of effort out of his players this season, with Wrexham reaping the rewards. They have delivered more drama for the club’s award-winning documentary series and are now drawing up summer transfer plans while also readying themselves for another pre-season tour in America.
